We are elated to share with you this heartwarming story of how a community came together for the cause of LIFE and made a systematic plan — through God’s amazing grace — to shut down their local abortion facility through the power of prayer and #sidewalkadvocacy!
One of the most moving parts of this story is how the community was unafraid to set goals for their numbers on the sidewalk and synergize a few different efforts under the Southwest Coalition for Life, knowing God was leading them! They figured out they were regularly redirecting AT LEAST 10-15% of the abortion facility business by sending women to the local, life-affirming pregnancy center for their needs — and that was enough to shut down the facility.
The findings of two separate studies are pointing out the error in believing that access to birth control will allow women to avoid abortion. A study published by the Guttmacher Institute, along with a study by the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, found that more than half of the women who seek abortion reported using birth control during the same month they got pregnant.
The Guttmacher findings, published on January 8, 2018, state that in 2014, 51 percent of the women who sought abortion were using birth control. Of that 51 percent, 24 percent were using condoms, 13 percent were using the pill and one percent were using a long-acting reversible birth control such as an IUD.
The results of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service study published in July 2017, showed that 51.2 percent of women who sought abortion in 2016 were using at least one form of contraception when they became pregnant. 24.2 percent of those women reported using a hormonal method of birth control including the pill, patches, rings, injectable birth control, or implanted birth control. These methods are considered to be the most effective at preventing pregnancy.
Abortion industry businesses such as Planned Parenthood are working hard to gain access to younger and younger children in order to indoctrinate them in so-called sexual freedom. They actively work to create a relationship of trust and convince children to turn to Planned Parenthood rather than their own parents. Once trust is established, preteens and teens believe Planned Parenthood when they tell them that birth control will provide them with safe sex. Then, when these teens become pregnant, they are shocked and confused and turn to Planned Parenthood for help. Planned Parenthood then convinces these young people that abortion will solve their problem. Abortion happens to be the service that brings in the most money. Worse yet, it is expensive late-term abortions that women on birth control end up paying for because the effects of hormonal birth control make it difficult for women to believe they are – or physically feel that they are – pregnant. Here’s what happens in a second trimester abortion, as explained by former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino:
“Hormonal contraception can cause side effects which may mask the symptoms of pregnancy, including suppressing menstrual bleeding completely, or causing irregular or light periods,” reads the BPAS report. “Women using a method of contraception may also not identify their pregnancy at an earlier stage because they, unlike those not using any method of contraception, had not anticipated falling pregnant.”
In a separate report by the BPAS, they surveyed 28 women who were seeking an abortion after 20 weeks gestation. 17 of the 28 women reported that they were seeking an abortion not because of a threat to their health or a problem with the baby, but because they failed to realize they were pregnant until that point. That’s nearly 61 percent of those women seeking late-term abortions. Six of those 17 women were on the pill and one of those women was also using condoms. One woman was using a long-lasting implanted birth control. These hormonal birth controls simply didn’t allow women to see changes in their own bodies to the point that they were unable to realize they were pregnant.
Birth control has a failure rate that few pro-abortion groups are willing to admit to and it prevents women from realizing they are pregnant often until they are well into the second trimester.
Planned Parenthood boasts that it provides 1.8 million women with reversible hormonal birth control… but how many of them will return for an abortion?
On January 25, 2018, conservative commentator and Daily Wire editor Ben Shapiro posted a Facebook video of a Q&A session at the University of Connecticut, in which he answered a questions from a female audience member (who says she is going into the healthcare field). She asks how he, as a “white, well off, religious man” feels he has a right to tell a woman that abortion is wrong.
The unidentified woman says, “I personally don’t think that I could have an abortion… but how do you defend your opinion as a white, well off, religious man… telling a woman what she can do with her body and forcing her to –”
Before she can finish, Shapiro answers, “Because evil things are still evil, even if I’m a white, well off, religious man.”
He then discusses how many of those fighting against slavery more than a century ago were white, well off men who took a stand that enslaving Black people was morally wrong. Those men did not have to be enslaved or share the same race as those who were enslaved in order to know that slavery was evil.
“My identity has nothing to do with what is right or wrong,” Shapiro says. Watch:
A very large problem with our currently society, Shapiro says, is the idea that certain persons cannot stand against what they believe to be morally wrong if they do not share the same political, cultural, or gender identity as those committing that moral wrong. Abortion is wrong, objectively. Whether or not it is wrong does not depend upon one’s gender or social class. If we retreat into identity politics, he adds, human moral reasoning cannot place.
Abortion is wrong, and when people objectively see what abortion is and does, many of them change their minds from pro-choice to pro-life, as seen in these man-on-the-street interviews done by Live Action:
The videos these individuals watched can be found at AbortionProcedures.com. One of them, showing an animation of a second trimester D&E abortion, can be seen below:
The bill to outlaw dismemberment abortions on living unborn children cleared its first hurdle in the S.C. Senate today, giving hope that the measure can be signed into law in 2018. Governor Henry McMaster has said he will sign the law.
Members of the S.C. Senate Medical Affairs subcommittee voted 3-2 along party lines to advance H3548, the Unborn Child Protection Against Dismemberment Abortion Act, to the full Medical Affairs Subcommittee.
Voting in favor were Subcommittee Chairman Senator Shane Martin, R-Spartanburg, Senator Tom Davis, R-Beaufort, and Senator Katrina Shealy. Voting to continue the barbaric practice of ripping unborn babies apart piece by piece were Senator Margie Bright Matthews, D-Colleton, and Senator Floyd Nicholson, D-Greenwood.
Dr. Marc Chetta, a physician and professor at Bob Jones University, gave dramatic and graphic testimony when he held up a life-like fetal model of a 20-week pre-born baby and using a surgical instrument demonstrated how abortionists rip the arms and legs from the baby so that she bleeds to death. Senator Martin shook his head in disbelief. “If there’s something so graphic and horrible that we can’t stand to think about it, then maybe we shouldn’t be doing it,” Dr. Chetta testified. He said if he did such a procedure on a pregnant dog, he would be criminally charged with cruelty to animals. “Yet we celebrate this in the U.S. and pay people to do it.”
Another physician, Dr. Stuart Hamilton of Columbia, S.C., verified for the committee that Dr. Chetta’s description of dismemberment abortion was medically accurate. He then turned to current advances in pre-natal surgery that give unborn babies with medical problems treatment before birth. “Conditions that are potentially treated include congenital heart disease, tumors, and malformations of the nervous system, lungs, G.I. tract, kidneys, bladder, and abdomen,” he testified. Yet dismemberment abortions are performed on other babies with medical problems. The procedure, he said, “does not save the lives lives or bind the wounds of any infant. It simply kills, steals, and destroys using crude physical dismemberment.”
A third physician, Dr. Mark Shaffer, of Windsboro, S.C., submitted a letter likening dismemberment abortion to the Medieval form of execution known as drawing and quartering.
Ingrid Duran, the National Right to Life Director of State Legislation, told the subcommittee members she believes the bill will be upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court on grounds similar to the ban the High Court upheld on partial-birth abortion in Stenberg v. Carhart. “We are confident that we have the votes in the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold another ban on equally barbaric procedure” that is dismemberment abortion,” Ms. Duran said.
Lisa Van Riper, President of South Carolina Citizens for Life, responded to pro-abortion testimony noting that the abortion supporters “haven’t talked about the child. They haven’t talked about the little girl in the womb who will never get to exercise her rights.” She informed the panel that other organizations supporting the dismemberment ban include the South Carolina Baptist Convention, the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, the South Carolina Association of Pregnancy Care Centers, Palmetto Family Council, and the Christian World View Center of North Greenville University.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has hired a new president and CEO. No this is not the replacement for Cecile Richards in the national headquarters, but this is a replacement for the CEO of Planned Parenthood’s affiliate in the Midwest.
The abortion company hired Brandon Hill to head up its affiliate that covers the states of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
He’ll is the former executive director of a center for Research into sexual issues. But his ties with the Kinsey Institute at the University of Indiana or raised a number of pro-life eyebrows. The Kinsey Institute has a sordid history and its namesake is known for its connections to pedophilia and sexual abuse.
The regional office of Planned Parenthood has selected a new president and CEO.
Brandon Hill, formerly executive director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health at the University of Chicago, assumed the role on Thursday.
Hill says he’s eager to move from reproductive research to advocacy.
“I think we’re in a particularly critical time in this political landscape to where I couldn’t just stay in my lab,” Hill says.
Hill is also a research fellow at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction at Indiana University, and he has a history of work as a clinic counselor for Planned Parenthood. He holds a Ph.D. in gender studies from Indiana University.
Dr. Alfred Kinsey authored the “Kinsey Reports” in 1948 and 1953. These reports were the basis for a sexual revolution that promoted and sanctioned pedophelia. Kinsey’s research was disproportionally based on surveys of prison inmates, sex offenders, and prostitutes.
The pro-life group Concerned Women for America once issued a report titled A Nation Deceived that further chronicled Kinsey. It said: “To obtain data about the sexual behavior of children, Dr. Kinsey worked with trained pedophiles who sexually abused hundreds of children (as young as two months) to prove to the world that infants, toddlers, and juveniles could enjoy sex pre-puberty with the help of an adult. Their sexual torture was recorded as pleasure.”
“Instead of being lionized, Kinsey’s proper place is with Nazi doctor Josef Mengele or your average Hollywood horror flick mad scientist,” Robert Knight of Concerned Women of America’s Culture & Family Institute said.
Even today, most are completely unaware that during his tenure at Indiana University, Kinsey facilitated, with stopwatches and ledgers, the systematic sexual abuse of hundreds, if not thousands, of children and infants – all in the name of science.
Among other things, Kinsey asserted that children are “sexual from birth.” He further concluded, based upon experiments he directed and documented in his infamous Table 34, that adult-child sex is harmless, even beneficial, and described child “orgasm” as “culminating in extreme trembling, collapse, loss of color, and sometimes fainting. …” Many children suffered “excruciating pain,” he observed, “and [would] scream if movement [was] continued.” Some “[would] fight away from the [adult] partner and may make violent attempts to avoid climax, although they derive[d] definite pleasure from the situation.”
Yeah. Sounds like it.
It’s little wonder that Dr. Reisman identifies Kinsey as a “sexual psychopath.” These children were as young as 2 months old.
Planned Parenthood kills children in abortions so it’s not too surprising that Hill is a research fellow at the Kinsey Institute, named for a man who sexually abused them.
